All about wool
We love wool
We at Klippan Yllefabrik love wool for many reasons. It is a renewable, climate-smart natural material that warms when it is cold and cools when it is hot.
A safe choice
We choose our wool carefully and never take any shortcuts when it comes to quality or animal husbandry. Our purchases are made with full traceability all the way to each individual sheep farm. You can rest assured that we do not buy wool from breeders who practice mulesing. We only use pure wool. We would never dream of mixing wool with synthetic fibers. Thanks to that, our throws and blankets are also naturally degradable and can be composted.

Klippan's mission is to offer beautiful textiles of high quality, produced with great care for the environment.
Very early on they took a conscious decision to focus on environmentally friendly and sustainable textiles. They only use natural material and take no short cuts when it comes to quality.
All Klippan throws and blankets are manufactured with great care in their own oeko-tex® certified factory.
Klippan are proud of their products. They are a safe, environmentally friendly and sustainable choice.
Klippan Kids
Klippan's children’s blankets are colourful, playful and of a very high quality. They only use natural fibres like ecological lambs wool and merino wool. The ecological wool is totally free of pesticides and no chemicals or antibiotics are used during the breeding of the sheep.
All cotton blankets are made of organic cotton. This means that the cotton has been cultivated without artificial fertiliser and pesticides. These jacquard woven blankets in 100% cotton are just as beautiful on the front as they are on their back.
Bengt & Lotta
Klippan distribute the unique Bengt & Lotta product range. Bengt Lindberg and Lotta Glave have been a couple since they studied together at University College of Arts, Crafts and Design. After a few years of working in different professions, they chose to start their own company under the name Bengt & Lotta. What started as a cow and a moose made from iron and cut with a blowtorch by Lotta’s father, has since evolved in to a successful company and concept which exports now to around 20 countries. In 2020 Bengt & Lotta celebrated 30 years of business.

Besides developing products under their own brand, Bengt & Lotta have also designed many classic patterns on behalf of Klippan.
Kerstin Landström
Tradition, inspiration, and renewal—this has been Kirsten's guiding philosophy since 1994. In the three decades that have passed, her brand has evolved from hand-woven textiles to a focus on timeless blanket designs. Each piece is deeply inspired by Swedish cultural heritage and history, and manufactured by Klippan in Latvia from 100% organic and Oeko-tex certified lambswool.
